The Wake Forest Cougars ran past the host Corinth Holders Pirates basketball team by a final score of 52-40 in Saturday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Cougars face the Sanderson Spartans (Raleigh, NC) in a non-league game, on Friday, January 5. Wake Forest will attempt to move on its 8-2 season record. The Spartans enter the game with a 2-7 record after their 43-33 non-league loss to Apex Friendship (Apex, NC).
