The Presque Isle Wildcats basketball team (Presque Isle, ME), was overwhelmed 72-36 in Saturday's league battle with the visiting Ellsworth Eagles (Ellsworth, ME)

The Eagles now possess a 4-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mount Desert Island for a B North battle on Thursday, December 28. Ellsworth will confront a Trojans team coming off a 48-40 league win over Caribou (Caribou, ME). The Trojans record now stands at 3-1.

The Wildcats (4-2) will now prepare for their battle against Hermon (Hermon, ME). The Hawks come into the B North battle with a 0-4 record. In their last battle, Hermon was overwhelmed by Washington Academy (East Machias, ME), 32-29, in a league battle.
