The Mount View Mustangs basketball team scored 53 points and held the visiting Maine Central Institute Huskies to 23 in the Mustangs non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Mustangs now sport a 3-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Erskine Academy for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 28.

The Huskies (1-3) will now prepare for their contest against Winslow (Winslow, ME). The Black Raiders enter the B North contest with a 0-4 record. In their last contest, Winslow was routed by Medomak Valley (Waldoboro, ME), 70-11, in a non-league contest.
