Pequannock Golden Panthers (Pompton Plains, NJ) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Morristown-Beard Crimson (Morristown, NJ), 61-33 in a league bout.

With the win, Pequannock upgrades its record to 4-1 on the season. The Golden Panthers host West Milford (West Milford, NJ) to clash with the Highlanders in a non-league bout on Wednesday, December 27. The Highlanders go into the bout with a record of 2-2. West Milford lost 32-30 in their recent non-league bout against DePaul Catholic (Wayne, NJ)

Next up, the Crimson clash with the Pope John XXIII (Sparta, NJ) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 13. Morristown-Beard will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record.
