Ross Little Giants (Fremont, OH) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Whitmer Panthers (Toledo, OH), 39-27 in a league bout.

With the win, Ross upgrades its record to 7-2 on the season. The Little Giants host Southview (Sylvania, OH) to clash with the Cougars in a Northern Lakes bout on Thursday, January 4. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 1-7.

Next up, the Panthers clash with the Highland Hornets (Medina, OH) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, December 27. Whitmer will attempt to upgrade on its 6-3 season record. The Hornets go into the bout with a 7-2 record after their 61-50 non-league loss to Brunswick (Brunswick, OH).
