The Dublin Fighting Irish basketball team (Dublin, GA), was toppled 53-37 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting Washington County Golden Hawks (Sandersville, GA)
The Golden Hawks now possess a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Putnam County for a battle on Friday, January 5.
The Fighting Irish (5-6) will now prepare for their battle against Warren County (Warrenton, GA). The Screaming Devils come into the non-league battle with a 7-2 record. In their last battle, Warren County beat Hancock Central (Sparta, GA), 53-43, in a non-league battle.
