In Monday's league test, the Cranberry Area Berries (Seneca, PA) basketball squad trounced the visiting Allegheny-Clarion Valley Falcons (Foxburg, PA), by a score of 69-40.

Next, the Berries encounter the Freeport Yellowjackets (Freeport, PA) in a non-league test, on Friday, December 27. Cranberry Area will attempt to improve on its 5-2 season record. The Yellowjackets come into the test with a 1-5 record after their 71-36 league loss to Deer Lakes (Russellton, PA).

The Falcons (2-4) will now prepare for their test against Keystone (Knox, PA). The Panthers come into the non-league test with a 4-2 record. In their last test, Keystone was routed by Clarion-Limestone (Strattanville, PA), 67-50, in a league test.
