The Rice Memorial Green Knights (South Burlington, VT) basketball crushed the host Burr & Burton Bulldogs (Manchester, VT), 77-45 in Monday's non-league bout.
The Green Knights now possess a 1-1 record. They play next when they host Mt. Mansfield for a Metro bout on Friday, December 27. Rice Memorial will play a Cougars team coming off a 68-46 league win over North Country Union (Newport, VT). The Cougars record now stands at 3-0.
With the loss, Burr & Burton falls to 1-2 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Hudson Ridge (Albany, NY) to play the Thunder Chicken in a non-league bout on Friday, December 27. The Thunder Chicken go into the bout with a record of 3-2. Hudson Ridge lost 63-54 in their recent non-league bout against Waterford-Halfmoon (Waterford, NY)
