The New Albany Eagles basketball team scored 55 points and limited the host Canfield Cardinals to 47 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Monday.
The Eagles now have a 3-2 record. They play next when they travel to Solon for a non-league game on Saturday, December 28. New Albany will confront a Comets team coming off a 68-55 non-league loss to Central Catholic (Toledo, OH). The Comets record now stands at 3-2.
With the loss, Canfield falls to 6-1 on the campaign. The Cardinals host East Liverpool (East Liverpool, OH) to confront the Potters in a non-league game on Friday, December 27. The Potters go into the game with a record of 8-1. East Liverpool won 69-41 in their recent non-league game against Salem (Salem, OH)
