In Monday's non-league contest, the host Western Hills Wolverines basketball team scored a good 72-63 triumph over the East Jessamine Jaguars.
The Wolverines (1-5) will now prepare for their contest against Franklin County (Frankfort, KY). The Flyers go into the District 41 contest with a 2-3 record.
In their next game, the Jaguars battle the Harlan Green Dragons (Harlan, KY) in a non-league contest, on Friday, December 27. East Jessamine will attempt to better on its 1-8 season record. The Green Dragons go into the contest with a 2-8 record after their 88-30 non-league loss to Henry Clay (Lexington, KY).
