New York High School Basketball - Monsignor Farrell sneaks past Salesian

The Monsignor Farrell Lions basketball team scored 48 points and limited the host Salesian Eagles to 45 in the Lions league triumph on Monday.

The Lions now possess a 2-3 record. They play next when they travel to Christ's Church Academy for a non-league game on Friday, December 27. Monsignor Farrell will play a Eagles team coming off a 55-35 non-league win over Trinity Christian Academy (Jacksonville, FL). The Eagles record now stands at 7-1.

With the loss, Salesian falls to 5-5 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Cardinal Spellman (Bronx, NY) to play the The Pilots in a non-league game on Saturday, January 4. The The Pilots go into the game with a record of 1-1.
