The crowd at Monday's non-league challenge between the St. Stanislaus Rock-a-Chaws (Bay St. Louis, MS) and the visiting Pearl River Central Blue Devils (Carriere, MS), observed St. Stanislaus's basketball team top Pearl River Central by a tally of 57-40.
The Rock-a-Chaws now possess a 9-4 record. They play next when they travel to West Marion for a 3A Region 8 bout on Friday, January 3. St. Stanislaus will play a Trojans team coming off a 60-58 non-league loss to Columbia (Columbia, MS). The Trojans record now stands at 7-8.
With the loss, Pearl River Central falls to 6-7 on the campaign. The Blue devils host Sacred Heart (Hattiesburg, MS) to play the Crusaders in a non-league bout on Friday, December 27. The Crusaders go into the bout with a record of 5-5.
