In Monday's non-league contest, the host St. Rose Purple Roses basketball team scored a good 80-63 triumph over the Rutgers Prep Argonauts.

The Purple Roses (3-1) will now prepare for their contest against St. Frances Academy (Baltimore, MD). The Panthers go into the non-league contest with a 9-1 record. In their last contest, St. Frances Academy topped Word of God Christian Academy National (Raleigh, NC), 60-57, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Argonauts confront the Don Bosco Prep Ironmen (Ramsey, NJ) in a non-league contest, on Monday, December 30. Rutgers Prep will attempt to better on its 3-2 season record. The Ironmen go into the contest with a 1-1 record after their 68-58 non-league loss to Devon Prep (Devon, PA).
