The crowd at Monday's league challenge between the Schenck Wolverines (East Millinocket, ME) and the host Stearns Minutemen (Millinocket, ME), observed Schenck's basketball team overwhelm Stearns by a score of 69-37.

The Wolverines (4-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Machias (Machias, ME). The Bulldogs come into the non-league challenge with a 5-0 record. In their last challenge, Machias trounced Deer Isle-Stonington (Deer Isle, ME), 80-15, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Minutemen encounter the Penobscot Valley Howlers (Howland, ME) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 27. Stearns will attempt to improve on its 1-4 season record. The Howlers come into the challenge with a 1-5 record after their 38-34 league loss to Dexter (Dexter, ME).
