The Bishop Hendricken Hawks bounced the visiting Smithfield Sentinels ice hockey squad by a tally of 7-1 in Monday's league match.
Next, the Hawks clash with the La Salle College Explorers (Wyndmoor, PA) in a non-league match, on Thursday, December 26. Bishop Hendricken will attempt to improve on its 1-1 season record. The Explorers enter the match with a 5-4 record after their 2-0 league loss to Seton Hall Prep (West Orange, NJ).
The Sentinels (1-3) will now prepare for their match against Bishop Guertin (Nashua, NH). The Cardinals enter the non-league match with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, Bishop Guertin was routed by Prout (Wakefield, RI), 5-2, in a non-league contest.
