The East Providence Townies basketball team scored 59 points and limited the visiting Barrington Eagles to 38 in the Townies non-league triumph on Monday.

The Townies now possess a 5-0 record. They play next when they host North Providence for a non-league game on Thursday, December 26. East Providence will play a Cougars team coming off a 68-34 non-league loss to Cranston West (Cranston, RI). The Cougars record now stands at 0-2.

With the loss, Barrington falls to 1-1 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Mt. Pleasant (Providence, RI) to play the Kilties in a non-league game on Friday, January 3. The Kilties go into the game with a record of 0-1.
