In Monday's non-league outing, the Auburn Trojans (Auburn, IL) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Tri-City Tornadoes (Buffalo, IL), by a margin of 72-45.

The Trojans (10-2) will now prepare for their outing against Triopia/Meredosia-Chambersburg/Virginia (Concord, IL). The Trojans go into the non-league outing with a 4-4 record.

The Tornadoes now own a 3-9 record. They play next when they travel to Routt Catholic for a non-league outing on Tuesday, January 3. Tri-City will clash with a Rockets squad coming off a 42-39 non-league win over Athens (Athens, IL). The Rockets record now stands at 8-1.
