Missouri High School Basketball - Mountain Grove can't hold off Salem

The Salem Tigers basketball team scored 52 points and held the host Mountain Grove Panthers to 48 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Monday.
The Tigers now sport a 2-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mansfield for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 27. Salem will battle a Lions team coming off a 48-35 non-league win over Miller (Miller, MO). The Lions record now stands at 3-1.
The Panthers (4-4) will now prepare for their contest against Thayer (Thayer, MO). The Bobcats enter the South Central contest with a 1-4 record. In their last contest, Thayer was nudged by Parkview (Springfield, MO), 55-48, in a non-league contest.
