Hopatcong Chiefs (Hopatcong, NJ) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Morris County Tech Devils (Denville, NJ), 51-41 in a league bout.

With the win, Hopatcong upgrades its record to 2-2 on the season. The Chiefs host Parsippany Hills (Parsippany, NJ) to play the Vikings in a non-league bout on Wednesday, December 27. The Vikings go into the bout with a record of 4-1. Parsippany Hills won 75-68 in their recent non-league bout against Mahwah (Mahwah, NJ)

Next up, the Devils play the Lenape Valley Patriots (Stanhope, NJ) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, December 27. Morris County Tech will attempt to upgrade on its 0-5 season record. The Patriots go into the bout with a 3-2 record after their 67-32 non-league win over Dover (Dover, NJ).
