California High School Basketball - Vasquez can't hold off Lancaster

The Lancaster Eagles basketball team scored 55 points and held the host Vasquez Mustangs to 54 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Eagles now sport a 8-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Moorpark for a non-league contest on Wednesday, December 27. Lancaster will battle a Musketeers team coming off a 63-53 non-league loss to Golden Valley (Santa Clarita, CA). The Musketeers record now stands at 3-11.

The Mustangs (8-5) will now prepare for their contest against Valley Torah (Valley Village, CA). The Wolfpack enter the Heritage contest with a 10-3 record. In their last contest, Valley Torah was nudged by Yeshiva University of Los Angeles (YULA) (Los Angeles, CA), 62-49, in a non-league contest.
