The York Wildcats basketball team scored 74 points and limited the visiting Yarmouth Clippers to 47 in the Wildcats league triumph on Thursday.

The Wildcats now have a 8-0 record. They play next when they travel to Cape Elizabeth for a B South game on Thursday, January 2. York will confront a Capers team coming off a 66-49 league loss to Leavitt (Turner, ME). The Capers record now stands at 2-4.

With the loss, Yarmouth falls to 3-3 on the campaign. The Clippers host Oceanside (Rockland, ME) to confront the Mariners in a B South game on Friday, December 27. The Mariners go into the game with a record of 3-2. Oceanside lost 55-47 in their recent non-league game against Brewer (Brewer, ME)
