The crowd at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Gallatin County Wildcats (Warsaw, KY) and the visiting Boone County Rebels (Florence, KY), observed Gallatin County's basketball team overwhelm Boone County by a score of 64-36.

The Wildcats (4-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Nicholas County (Carlisle, KY). The Bluejackets come into the non-league challenge with a 5-4 record. In their last challenge, Nicholas County trounced Lawrence County (Louisa, KY), 77-76, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Rebels battle the Oldham County Colonels (Buckner, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 27. Boone County will attempt to improve on its 0-8 season record. The Colonels come into the challenge with a 2-5 record after their 56-52 non-league win over Collins (Shelbyville, KY).
