The East Rowan Mustangs basketball team scored 64 points and limited the host West Rowan Falcons to 35 in the Mustangs non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Mustangs now possess a 7-2 record. They play next when they host Central Davidson for a non-league game on Friday, December 27. East Rowan will play a Spartans team coming off a 43-40 non-league win over South Rowan (China Grove, NC). The Spartans record now stands at 5-5.

With the loss, West Rowan falls to 0-8 on the campaign. The Falcons host South Rowan (China Grove, NC) to play the Raiders in a 3A South Piedmont game on Friday, December 27. The Raiders go into the game with a record of 3-6. South Rowan lost 65-27 in their recent league game against Central Cabarrus (Concord, NC)
