In Thursday's league contest, the visiting Pittsford Wildcats basketball team scored a big 52-31 win over the Waldron Spartans.

The Wildcats (5-0) will now prepare for their contest against Britton Deerfield (Britton, MI). The Patriots come into the non-league contest with a 0-7 record. In their last contest, Britton Deerfield was trounced by Lenawee Christian (Adrian, MI), 55-25, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Spartans battle the Will Carleton Academy Cougars (Hillsdale, MI) in a non-league contest, on Friday, December 27. Waldron will attempt to better on its 1-4 season record. The Cougars come into the contest with a 1-6 record after their 31-11 non-league loss to Camden-Frontier (Camden, MI).
