The Fleming Colonels basketball team (Roanoke, VA), dropped 60-47 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the host Albemarle Patriots (Charlottesville, VA)

The Patriots now possess a 5-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Goochland for a Jefferson battle on Tuesday, January 3. Albemarle will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 92-67 non-league loss to New Kent (New Kent, VA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 0-7.

The Colonels (6-2) will now prepare for their battle against Charlottesville (Charlottesville, VA). The Black Knights come into the non-league battle with a 4-3 record. In their last battle, Charlottesville dropped by Riverside (Leesburg, VA), 73-68, in a non-league battle.
