Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Waynedale Golden Bears (Apple Creek, OH) and the visiting Chippewa Chipps (Doylestown, OH), saw Waynedale's basketball squad hold off Chippewa by a count of 66-59.

With the victory, Waynedale upgrades its record to 4-2 on the campaign. The Golden Bears travel to Tuscarawas Central Catholic (New Philadelphia, OH) to play the Saints in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 10. The Saints come into the challenge with a record of 2-3.

Next up, the Chipps play the Northwestern Huskies (West Salem, OH) in a Wayne County challenge, on Friday, December 30. Chippewa will attempt to upgrade on its 7-2 season record.
