North Carolina High School Basketball - Knightdale topped by Franklinton

December 27, 2022: Knightdale, NC 27545

The Franklinton Rams basketball team scored 55 points and restricted the host Knightdale Knights to 43 in the Rams non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Rams now sport a 9-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Green Hope for a non-league match on Thursday, December 29. Franklinton will meet a Falcons team coming off a 74-57 non-league win over J.F. Webb (Oxford, NC). The Falcons record now stands at 4-6.

With the defeat, Knightdale moves to 5-7 on the year. The Knights host Wake Forest (Wake Forest, NC) to meet the Cougars in a 4A Conference 27 match on Friday, January 6. The Cougars enter the match with a record of 7-4. Wake Forest won 65-54 in their recent non-league match against Northern Durham (Durham, NC)
