The John Bapst Memorial Crusaders basketball team scored 60 points and restricted the host Hermon Hawks to 53 in the Crusaders league victory on Tuesday.

The Crusaders now sport a 1-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Waterville for a B North contest on Thursday, December 29. John Bapst Memorial will battle a Panthers team coming off a 64-52 league win over Belfast (Belfast, ME). The Panthers record now stands at 2-2.

The Hawks (1-3) will now prepare for their contest against Mount Desert Island (Mount Desert, ME). The Trojans come into the B North contest with a 2-2 record. In their last contest, Mount Desert Island was nudged by Foxcroft Academy (Dover-Foxcroft, ME), 58-45, in a league contest.
