The Pocono Mountain East Cardinals basketball team scored 57 points and held the visiting Northampton Konkrete Kids to 52 in the Cardinals non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Cardinals now sport a 1-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Liberty for a Lehigh Valley contest on Tuesday, January 3. Pocono Mountain East will battle a Hurricanes team coming off a 55-53 non-league loss to Hazleton Area (Hazleton, PA). The Hurricanes record now stands at 6-3.

The Konkrete Kids (2-5) will now prepare for their contest against Emmaus (Emmaus, PA). The Hornets enter the Lehigh Valley contest with a 7-2 record. In their last contest, Emmaus was nudged by Abington Heights (Clarks Summit, PA), 58-55, in a non-league contest.
