Maine High School Basketball - Piscataquis ripped by Valley

The Valley Cavaliers basketball team scored 76 points and held the visiting Piscataquis Pirates to 44 in the Cavaliers non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Cavaliers now sport a 3-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Forest Hills for a D South contest on Monday, January 2. Valley will meet a Tigers team coming off a 58-35 league win over Seacoast Christian (South Berwick, ME). The Tigers record now stands at 6-1.
The Pirates (2-2) will now prepare for their contest against Penobscot Valley (Howland, ME). The Howlers enter the C North contest with a 1-4 record. In their last contest, Penobscot Valley was routed by Dexter (Dexter, ME), 39-25, in a league contest.
