The St. Johnsbury Academy Hilltoppers topped the visiting Rutland Raiders basketball team by a final score of 50-38 in Tuesday's non-league game.
In their next game, the Hilltoppers face the Champlain Valley Union Redhawks (Hinesburg, VT) in a Metro game, on Friday, December 30. St. Johnsbury Academy will attempt to move on its 3-1 season record. The Redhawks enter the game with a 4-0 record after their 62-48 league win over Mt. Mansfield (Jericho, VT).
With the defeat, Rutland moves to 2-4 on the year.
