The Morse Shipbuilders (Bath, ME) basketball nipped the visiting Biddeford Tigers (Biddeford, ME), 32-31 in Tuesday's league test.
The Shipbuilders (1-3) will now prepare for their test against Mt. Ararat (Topsham, ME). The Eagles go into the A South test with a 5-0 record. In their last test, Mt. Ararat got by Yarmouth (Yarmouth, ME), 52-40, in a non-league test.
The Tigers now own a 1-4 record. They play next when they travel to Westbrook for a A South test on Tuesday, January 3. Biddeford will encounter a Blue Blazes squad coming off a 59-48 non-league win over Yarmouth (Yarmouth, ME). The Blue Blazes record now stands at 7-4.
