Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Southwood Cowboys (Shreveport, LA) and the host Carroll Bulldogs (Monroe, LA), saw Southwood's basketball squad knock off Carroll by a count of 40-31.

With the victory, Southwood upgrades its record to 13-2 on the campaign. The Cowboys travel to Albany (Albany, LA) to play the Hornets in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, December 28. The Hornets come into the challenge with a record of 17-0. Albany won 65-33 in their recent non-league challenge against Ouachita Parish (Monroe, LA)

Next up, the Bulldogs play the North Caddo Titans (Vivian, LA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 6. Carroll will attempt to upgrade on its 2-2 season record.
