The Messalonskee Eagles basketball team (Oakland, ME), was overwhelmed 63-24 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Cony Rams (Augusta, ME)
The Rams now possess a 2-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Brunswick for a non-league battle on Wednesday, December 28. Cony will confront a Dragons team coming off a 61-36 league win over Falmouth (Falmouth, ME). The Dragons record now stands at 4-0.
The Eagles (0-4) will now prepare for their battle against Nokomis (Newport, ME). The Warriors come into the A North battle with a 3-1 record. In their last battle, Nokomis trounced Erskine Academy (South China, ME), 62-30, in a league battle.
