Mattanawcook Lynx (Lincoln, ME) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting George Stevens Academy Eagles (Blue Hill, ME), 71-29 in a league bout.

With the win, Mattanawcook upgrades its record to 3-1 on the season. The Lynx host Dexter (Dexter, ME) to clash with the Tigers in a C North bout on Thursday, December 29. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 4-0. Dexter won 44-41 in their recent league bout against Penobscot Valley (Howland, ME)

Next up, the Eagles clash with the Central Red Devils (East Corinth, ME) in a C North bout, on Friday, December 30. George Stevens Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 3-4 season record. The Red Devils go into the bout with a 3-1 record after their 53-17 league win over Penquis Valley (Milo, ME).
