Providence Catholic Celtics (New Lenox, IL) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Hinsdale South Hornets (Darien, IL), 59-29 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Providence Catholic upgrades its record to 9-7 on the season. The Celtics travel to Downers Grove South (Downers Grove, IL) to play the Mustangs in a non-league bout on Wednesday, December 28. The Mustangs go into the bout with a record of 8-8. Downers Grove South lost 66-54 in their recent non-league bout against Sandburg (Orland Park, IL)

Next up, the Hornets play the Glenbard South Raiders (Glen Ellyn, IL) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 3. Hinsdale South will attempt to upgrade on its 8-6 season record. The Raiders go into the bout with a 10-2 record after their 45-43 non-league loss to Hinsdale Central (Hinsdale, IL).
