The Patriots come into the challenge with a record of 2-2. Freehold Township won 41-39 in their recent non-league challenge against Liberty (Jackson, NJ)

Next up, the Huskies confront the Holmdel Hornets (Holmdel, NJ) in a Shore A - Central challenge, on Tuesday, January 3. Matawan Regional will attempt to improve on its 0-6 season record. The Hornets come into the challenge with a 3-0 record after their 57-32 non-league win over Roselle Catholic (Roselle, NJ).
