Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Illini West Chargers (Carthage, IL) and the host Lewistown Indians (Lewistown, IL), saw Illini West's basketball squad overcome Lewistown by a tally of 42-26.

With the victory, Illini West improves its record to 11-4 on the campaign. The Chargers travel to Mendon Unity (Mendon, IL) to confront the Mustangs in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, December 28. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a record of 9-1. Mendon Unity won 43-28 in their recent non-league challenge against Macomb (Macomb, IL)

Next up, the Indians confront the Routt Catholic Rockets (Jacksonville, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 3. Lewistown will attempt to improve on its 11-2 season record.
