The Mathis Pirates (Mathis, TX) basketball knocked off the host Robstown Cottonpickers (Robstown, TX), 38-26 in Tuesday's non-league test.

The Pirates (11-10) will now prepare for their test against Corpus Christi Moody (Corpus Christi, TX). The Trojans go into the non-league test with a 14-8 record. In their last test, Corpus Christi Moody went down by Corpus Christi Veterans Memorial (Corpus Christi, TX), 53-45, in a league test.
