The East Rockingham Eagles basketball team scored 62 points and held the visiting Mountain View Generals to 0 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Eagles now sport a 7-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Madison County for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 29. East Rockingham will meet a Mountaineers team coming off a 29-23 non-league loss to Page County (Shenandoah, VA). The Mountaineers record now stands at 1-8.

The Generals (1-8) will now prepare for their contest against Staunton (Staunton, VA). The Storm enter the non-league contest with a 1-6 record. In their last contest, Staunton was routed by Wilson Memorial (Fishersville, VA), 36-29, in a non-league contest.
