The Chatham Central Bears basketball team (Bear Creek, NC), was overwhelmed 55-18 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the host Southwestern Randolph Cougars (Asheboro, NC)
The Cougars now possess a 8-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Western Guilford for a non-league battle on Wednesday, December 28. Southwestern Randolph will battle a Hornets team coming off a 59-52 non-league loss to Union Pines (Cameron, NC). The Hornets record now stands at 1-7.
The Bears (0-7) will now prepare for their battle against Seaforth (Pittsboro, NC). The Hawks come into the non-league battle with a 5-3 record. In their last battle, Seaforth was overwhelmed by Trinity (Trinity, NC), 53-47, in a non-league battle.
