The Logan Elm Braves (Circleville, OH) basketball knocked off the host Athens Bulldogs (The Plains, OH), 49-34 in Wednesday's non-league test.
The Braves (3-5) will now prepare for their test against New Lexington (New Lexington, OH). The Panthers go into the non-league test with a 7-1 record. In their last test, New Lexington notched a victory over River View (Warsaw, OH), 55-45, in a league test.
The Bulldogs now own a 2-7 record. They play next when they host River Valley for a Tri-Valley I test on Friday, January 5. Athens will encounter a Raiders squad coming off a 49-47 non-league win over Oak Hill (Oak Hill, OH). The Raiders record now stands at 4-5.
