In Wednesday's non-league outing, the Athens Wildcats (Athens, PA) basketball squad felled the visiting Sayre Redskins (Sayre, PA), by a margin of 71-58.

The Wildcats (6-2) will now prepare for their outing against Waverly (Waverly, NY). The Wolverines go into the non-league outing with a 4-1 record. In their last outing, Waverly thwarted Tioga (Tioga Center, NY), 72-48, in a non-league outing.
