North Carolina High School Basketball - Ayden - Grifton holds off Martin County

Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Ayden - Grifton Chargers (Ayden, NC) and the host Martin County Knights (Williamston, NC), saw Ayden - Grifton's basketball squad hold off Martin County by a tally of 67-66.

With the victory, Ayden - Grifton improves its record to 8-3 on the campaign. The Chargers travel to North Pitt (Bethel, NC) to confront the Panthers in a non-league challenge on Thursday, December 28. The Panthers come into the challenge with a record of 0-6.

Next up, the Knights confront the North Lenoir Hawks (LaGrange, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, December 28. Martin County will attempt to improve on its 4-5 season record.
