Bloomfield Wildcats (Bloomfield, MO) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Bernie Mules (Bernie, MO), 65-44 in a league bout.

With the victory, Bloomfield upgrades its record to 5-5 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Twin Rivers (Broseley, MO) to play the Royals in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 28. The Royals come into the bout with a record of 5-4. Twin Rivers won 58-43 in their recent league bout against Naylor (Naylor, MO)

Next up, the Mules play the Advance Hornets (Advance, MO) in a Stoddard County bout, on Friday, January 5. Bernie will attempt to upgrade on its 4-4 season record. The Hornets come into the bout with a 1-6 record after their 90-57 non-league loss to Charleston (Charleston, MO).
