Illinois High School Basketball - Blue Island Eisenhower fells Thornton Fractional South

Blue Island Eisenhower Cardinals (Blue Island, IL) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Thornton Fractional South Red Wolves (Lansing, IL), 63-53 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Blue Island Eisenhower upgrades its record to 11-4 on the season. The Cardinals travel to Westinghouse (Chicago, IL) to clash with the Warriors in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 28. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 10-3. Westinghouse won 78-60 in their recent non-league bout against Bremen (Midlothian, IL)

Next up, the Red Wolves clash with the Crane Medical Cougars (Chicago, IL) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 29. Thornton Fractional South will attempt to upgrade on its 4-8 season record. The Cougars go into the bout with a 10-5 record after their 70-51 non-league win over Thornridge (Dolton, IL).
