In Wednesday's non-league match, the visiting Edison Eagles basketball team scored a good 61-49 triumph over the South Plainfield Tigers.
In their next game, the Eagles meet the New Brunswick Zebra (New Brunswick, NJ) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, January 2. Edison will attempt to move on its 2-3 season record. The Zebra enter the match with a 2-3 record after their 71-18 league loss to Monroe Township (Monroe Township, NJ).
