With the victory, Lake Crystal-Wellcome Memorial upgrades its record to 6-1 on the campaign. The Knights travel to Minnesota Valley Lutheran (New Ulm, MN) to play the Chargers in a AA Section 2 bout on Thursday, December 28. The Chargers come into the bout with a record of 6-0. Minnesota Valley Lutheran won 95-69 in their recent league bout against St. Clair (St. Clair, MN)

Next up, the Cardinals play the St. Clair Cyclones (St. Clair, MN) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 28. Fairmont will attempt to upgrade on its 2-4 season record. The Cyclones come into the bout with a 4-4 record after their 95-69 league loss to Minnesota Valley Lutheran (New Ulm, MN).
