With the victory, Oakwood upgrades its record to 10-4 on the campaign. The Comets travel to Paxton-Buckley-Loda (Paxton, IL) to play the Panthers in a non-league bout on Wednesday, December 27. The Panthers come into the bout with a record of 2-9. Paxton-Buckley-Loda lost 59-33 in their recent non-league bout against Gibson City-Melvin-Sibley (Gibson City, IL)
