Wallkill Valley Rangers (Hamburg, NJ) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting High Point Wildcats (Sussex, NJ), 56-48 in a league bout.

With the win, Wallkill Valley upgrades its record to 3-3 on the season. The Rangers travel to Warwick (Warwick, NY) to play the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Friday, December 29. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 3-3. Warwick won 33-22 in their recent non-league bout against Morris Hills (Rockaway, NJ)

Next up, the Wildcats play the North Warren Regional Patriots (Blairstown, NJ) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, January 3. High Point will attempt to upgrade on its 3-2 season record. The Patriots go into the bout with a 5-2 record after their 53-41 non-league win over Central Jersey College Prep (Somerset, NJ).
